Trivia question of the day: www.markme.com

Friday, February 25th, 2005

First person to tell me what “markme” stands for/means wins a free gmail account!! yippee!

… somebody asked me recently and I had an answer … but I’d like to see if I was right or wrong!

I’ve been using for more than a year and I’m trying to remember all the history of it … and yes this could be a trick question. :)

“Flash” on ipod? Probably not … but still the idea is killer …

Monday, February 21st, 2005

I came across this post … even though I think the article below is refering to hardware flash and NOT software flash … the idea of color flash games on the ipod through flash is really quite appealing … in any regard, perhaps not flashlite 1.1, but perhaps a future version of flashlite … or a custom embededded version? Who knows?? Macromedia and Apple.

“Want to play a … game?” - thinking machine 4

Thursday, February 17th, 2005

ok, it isn’t flash, but it’s still cool … anyone up for porting it to flash? I bet it would be a good performance test for FP8!

If you’re into processing, AI, or you’re into Peters, Tarbell, Skinner etc you’ll get a kick out of this … :)

“This AI program shows the computer?s thought process sketched on screen as it plays. A map is created from the traces of literally thousands of possible futures as the program tries to decide its best move. Those traces become a key to the invisible lines of force in the game as well as a window into the spirit of a thinking machine.”

additive flash game - “Ball Revamped: Metaphysik”?

Wednesday, February 16th, 2005

I can’t remember which game this reminds me off … but its still addictive, kind of like Justin Church-hills’s recent aquan flashlite game … Warning: do not play at work, ok, maybe just one game …

Take note of the highly annoying death sound … I’m not quite sure if this was done on perhaps or an appropriate sound could not be found?

But, I wonder if there is something pyschological about using such an annoying sound … makes you want to succed on each level more??!

Visit: “Ball Revamped: Metaphysik”

Enjoy.
