Foundation PHP 5 for Flash … due out this month …

Loading ...I was a big fan of the original book: Foundation PHP for Flash that came out a few years back …
Now I recently noticed that a revised book is on the horizon (slated for this month) … looks interesting and along the same lines as the original title.
I really haven’t been involved in any client Flash/PHP projects recently, but I think it’s a great tool for rapid development … and if I remember correctly IBM just put some chunk of change into it as an alternative to it’s ongoing java efforts …
I think that says a lot about what PHP can do and the future of it … anyways here’s the link if you’re interested:
One thing that’s thrown me for a loop, is the PHP5 beta itself … I run an older copy of RH. I as well as many other developers have run into dependency problems with xml libraries …
I guess I’ll have to upgrade my linux distro or wait for the official PHP5 release.
