viliv p2 PMP launched in Korea (Flash Lite 2 onboard)

viliv p2

I noticed the viliv p2 PMP (Korean, English) has been launched in Korea.

This device features a Flash Lite 2.0 User Interface. No word on whether you can load custom Flash Lite content on the device.

There may be some preinstalled Flash Lite games, as the previous viliv p1 was Flash Lite 1.1 enabled, had a preinstalled game, and was open to develop Flash Lite content with. However, this has not been confirmed on the viliv p2 (yet).

Would be nice if someone from Korea who has physical access to the device can confirm or deny this whether or not the viliv p2 follows some of the same trends as the viliv p1 (with improvements?).

Here, you can get the specs on the device.

Judging from the www.shopviliv.com site, they are readying some sort of US launch as well. Perhaps, later this year.

Watch a demo of the viliv p2.

I met the developer of the Viliv P2 UI in Seoul, and took two photos:

Thanks Dave. The UI is lovely. Did you manage to see the performance?

  3. Dave Yang Says:

I only saw it briefly, and didn’t notice any performance issue. Are you adding it to your collection? 8-)

I have to ebay my viliv p1 first. :)
