mocarbon - reducing impact of mobile phones …

Monday, September 24th, 2007

Moket recently launched mocarbon - an initiative to reduce the impact of mobile phone charging has on the environment by the innovative use of Flash Lite screen savers.

“Phantom” rings and/or flashes

Monday, September 24th, 2007

Someone sent me this recently, I thought it was interesting (if not a bit unsettling) so I am posting to see if anyone else has experienced this “phenomena”:

From what I’ve read on your Web site, you’re a lover of new devices. I’m writing about people who experience phantom vibrations (or rings, or flashing lights) [...]

color_2 = “green”;
color_3 = “blue”;
color_4 = “red”;
//– To dynamically access the elements in this pseudo-array,
//– you could use the following ActionScript code:

myvu Personal Media Viewer - Universal Edition

Friday, September 21st, 2007

After I got home from Flashforward Boston, I noticed a package arrived containing the upcoming universal version of the myvu personal media viewer glasses (meaning it works for: “iPod, Zune, Archos, portalbe DVD and video cameras”) .
Not sure if it’ll work for a handset (N95 or perhaps the iPhone?), but I’ll see shortly …

In line with my talk on Flash Lite casual game development session this week at Flashforward, I found these two postings from Blizzard … yeah, the guys who make WoW (World of Warcraft).
Good to see that yet another notable game company is starting to notice how Flash Lite can be leveraged in regards to user [...]

Flashforward 2007 post session podcast next week

Saturday, September 15th, 2007

This is kind of last minute, but after my session next week at Flashforward I am scheduled for a 30 minute podcast.
Although I am fairly up to date with what others in the community are doing in regards to Flash Lite games, if you would like me to have a fresh reminder of how you, [...]
