Here’s a demo of Adobe Flash Cast at Mobile World Congress 2008 (on a series 60 Nokia N81 N73 which has Flash Lite 2.x).

If you were not aware, Adobe MaD announced Flash Cast 2 at the Congress recently … but I’m not 100% sure if this is a newer Mobile Client or not.

    Hi Scott,

Flash Cast 2 and Flash Home are applications supported by the Adobe Mobile Client our latest piece of technology. We’ve been working on it for years and having worked on the team I can say that its amazing, half the size and twice as fast as our previous client.

At the MWC lots of people were very excited by Flash Home in particular but one feature of Flash Cast 2 is the capability to purchase new Flash Home screens.

Hi Scott, the device it’s an N73 not n81, I know it because the hands that control it are mine :) Was the first time I have seen flash cast in action… a really interesting experience :)

I could see some other example flash lite examples at WMC, and all of them are great!

Interesting! It looks like the video is time accelerated, but I think I get the jist of Home and Flash Cast. I would like to see an Adobe generated demo/storyboard/screenshots. I would love to hear more about [EDITED].

    Hi Jay,

Yes, not sure what happened to the video … there is no way execution speed is that fast, otherwise I want the N73 … like *now*. Maybe Marcos over-clocked his mobile? Ha. ;)

Anyways, if you are interested in Adobe products, I would contact Adobe directly at: mobiledeveloper@adobe.com. They may be able to help you.

    Thanks!
