If one were to drop a Nokia N95, iPhone, or other mobile device into this village with a continuous video playing … I wonder what the reaction would be to this tribe …

Would they destroy it? Put it on a shrine as a “talking box to the sky”? Worship it as a god? Treat it as a demon/monster? … complain about No Flash on the iPhone!? or no 3G?

Clearly from the photos, the reaction would be an interesting one to say the least … I believe even some Hollywood films have attempted to depict the outcomes (but nothing in particular comes to mind).

Best to leave them be, I suppose … but is interesting to speculate the possible reactions and how they might view it in the context of their culture.
