Sony Ericsson has released some preliminary API examples and tutorial material for the upcoming Capuchin technology that will most likely be part of SE handsets going forwards.

Sony Ericsson launched a (Windows) tool as part of the Capuchin project called SWF2JAR.
It takes a Midlet and Flash Lite SWF and generates a deployable jar file which will allow you to install and take advantage of the upcoming Capuchin API based content on supported Sony Ericsson handsets.

OK. I just read an “article” where the author supposes there are “6 million J2ME developers” to Flash Lite’s “2 million developers”.
Ummm, no.
Maybe if you spin it like there are 6 million Java Developers versus 2 million Flash Developers that statement is true … but in terms of folks who do mobile work, full-time, this [...]
