LPlayer 2″ PMP from iRiver

iRiver unveiled some photos and (basic) specs on their 2.0 inch PMP LPlayer device.
No mention of Flash Lite on this device … but given the lineage, it would make sense … as it does utilize a D-Click user interface, and for all intensive purposes looks to be a “mini clix”. Guess, we’ll find out [...]

iRiver PMPs & new product launches during CES 2008

iRiver is doing a “product countdown” this week for CES 2008 like they did last year. Awesome.

iRiver Clix+ PMP launched in Korea (Flash Lite 2.1)

If you head over to iRiver’s site you can see the new iRiver Clix+ PMP.
As far as I can tell, it’s essentially the previous Clix plus DMB capability (of course, only in Korea! ), SRS Wow HD, and some other enhancements.

Steam Iron - mobile RTS multiplayer game destined for Korean handsets

Caught this via the guys over at finalhome.
Steam Iron appears to be a mobile RTS game to be played through GPRS in Korea launching next year. Looks very cool. It’s made by mikoishi, based out of Singapore.

iRiver Clix “Plus” PMP?

Via engadget … some speculation on a “new” iRiver Clix device: 2/4/8GB capacities and a rumored 3-inch LCD. You can see the “teaser” here.
