Flash Applications for Mobile Devices was the first book on market targeting mobile development for devices supporting the Adobe/Macromedia Flash (Lite) runtime.

In 2006 and into 2007, I spent months helping to write this book with my coauthors for Friends of Ed Publishing.

I was responsible for several chapters, or hundreds of pages of this technical book, as well as revisions, and general improvements to the contents of the book and accompanying source code.

The book would later go on to be used a reference to hundreds of Flash and other mobile platform developers eager to do mobile development using Adobe mobile development tooling.

I also created the book portal website at and helped to manage the forums that one existed there for developers to get started developing for mobile.

After writing the Adobe and its partners on their mobile initiatives. In the process I became an advocate for Flash across devices, as well as what Adobe called an "evangelist" at the time.

Right around 2009, I helped write the follow up to this book, Advanced Flash Mobile Applications for the Devices.
